ojdeagu- most body builders are INCREDIBLY healthy. sure, the ones on roids are at high risk of heart disease and such, but most bbers i know including myself, eat a balanced diet, and work out regularly. ethiopians DO NOT EAT. which means that they are not getting nutrients and whatnot that they need. that emaciated state is NOT healthy.
Of course they eat how the hell do you expect the atheltes run 26 miles without energy. If they didnt eat they would be dead. Many are naturally slim. Many Kenyans run as part of their culture across long distances they are naturally lean and far healthier then your average body builder.
Natural body building is a lot healthier then pill poppers. I try to workout myself. You are probably very healthy. But a lot are not. So many young idiots lift heavy weights every day etc and have no idea about rest or how to do it properly.

your body will burn the carbonhydrates first then the fat and lastly, the muscle. Your body want to keep the muscle cuz once your body start burning muscle as energy, you are in serious trouble. But most of us won’t get in to that intensity. So don’t worry about losing muscle. Do ur aerobic, running or jogging. Because only running or jogging will burn the fat out of ur body. anerobic will only gain muscle but not burning fat.
The scale is a joke.
I do both ,treadmill and weight training.I do not rely soly on running as i HAVE lost alot of inches since by back injury.BUT ..Muscle weighs more than fat so forget the scale.I used to be a body builder and you do need to do cardio because your heart IS a Muscle.Think about it before responding.
iv lost 6 kg of fat from just doing mucle building come on thats all you need to do and a healthy diet with protine and some natrule fats and all your majore food groups no fast food at all if you wonna a snack have a hand full of amonds of one small serveing of yogurt and a apple
ey man i know its true by fat burning to long on treadmill or bycicle yes, you can warm up with treadmill or bycicle like 5-10 minutes will burn a bit fat and not so much muscle the other time just muscle training then it will lose fat and then gaining muscle

i agree that runners dont have a lot of muscle however it isnt the cardio that causes them to have skinny bodies its the fact that they only do cardio. Cardio isnt catabolic. You lose muscle from only doing cardio and not weight training.

It is very that you need resistance training has many health benefits, creating muscle, lowering blood pressure, as well as offsetting osteoporosis, as well as loosing weight, and keeping it off. Yeah, you shouldn’t ONLY do weightlifting. Find a balance. Most people do some cardio to burn off some calories, THAN they do weights. This way your muscles will be more visible. Or running one day nad weights the next.
its more than their training. Its mostly about dieting cause they know they have to eat very little cause if they gain 3 kg even if its muscle it will slow them down. endurance sports is mostly about VO2MAX/KG
No marathon runners don’t have a lot of muscle, but sprinters do. What type of cardio you do and the intensity of it matters.
